Will Bryson DeChambeau Break More Course Records in 2026?

Bryson DeChambeau Course Record Odds

Thanks to the rise of prediction markets, we can now trade on golf events well outside the traditional format. YouTube golf has exploded over the last few years, giving fans a new and more entertaining way to follow the sport.

Bryson DeChambeau has played a major role in that growth and is easily the most notable professional golfer on YouTube. One of his most popular features is the Course Record series, where he travels to public courses across the country and attempts to break their records.

After becoming the first athlete to partner with Kalshi, it makes sense that the prediction market platform would offer markets tied to Bryson's YouTube channel. One market has already generated more than $230,000 in betting volume, allowing fans to predict how many course records DeChambeau will break during the 2026 series.

Let's look at the odds according to Kalshi and see whether Bryson is likely to add any more course records this year.

3+ Course Records

The most likely result, according to Kalshi, is that Bryson will set one more course record on his YouTube channel this year.

He currently sits at two course records through five attempts, with ties counting as a record for this market. One video was posted early in the year, but Bryson has become much more consistent with the series recently, releasing one Course Record video in each of the last four months.

If that pace continues, Bryson could reasonably have another three or four attempts before the end of the year. Even with just three more videos, his current success rate suggests that breaking or tying another course record is a realistic outcome.

4+ Course Records

Since it's unlikely that Bryson posts more than four additional Course Record videos in 2026, he would need to be successful in either two of his next three or two of his next four attempts to reach this outcome.

That's certainly possible for a golfer of Bryson's caliber, but it would require him to perform above his current success rate in the series. Through five attempts, he has broken or tied the course record twice.

It's also worth considering that YouTube golf is different from a live tournament. If an attempt goes particularly poorly, Bryson could scrap the video and only release the competitive ones. After all, the series is designed for entertainment rather than true competition, which could make his published success rate look better than his actual results.

5+ Course Records

As we go down the list, each outcome becomes increasingly unlikely. For 5+ course records to cash, Bryson needs to break or tie three more records this year. If he only releases another three or four videos, that means he would need to succeed in all or nearly all of them.

One factor working in his favor is that the series could ramp up once his professional season ends. There are no more majors in 2026, and only two LIV Golf events remain, potentially giving Bryson more time to focus on YouTube content.

We also don't know how many Course Record videos he already has on the back burner. This market only requires the video to be posted in 2026, regardless of when it was filmed, so there could be more attempts ready to go than his recent upload schedule suggests.

Market Rules

The market resolves as YES based on how many course records are broken specifically on YouTube by Bryson DeChambeau in 2026.

If he breaks a course record in a live event, such as a LIV tournament, that does not count towards this market.

Also, Kalshi adapted the rules to include tying a course record, which is why Bryson currently stands at 2.

It will resolve at the end of 2026 and includes any video from the course record series posted during this year, regardless of the time of filming.
