SportsMillions Review

SportsMillions is a growing sports betting and social casino platform that offers users a chance to play daily fantasy sports (DFS) and sweepstakes, compile picks in parlays, and play casino games like slots and cascading reels. The number one selling point for the platform: On SportsMillions, you can play for free or for real money. You can even play for free and redeem your winnings for cash prizes if you have enough luck.

But on SportsMillions, things can get confusing pretty quick. There are three types of gameplay: Pick'em, Blitz'em, and Social Casino. There are three types of currency: real dollars for Pick'em, and Gold Coins (GC) and Sweepstakes Coins (SC) that you can use on Blitz'em and the Social Casino. Gold Coins are used to pay for gameplay while Sweepstakes Coins are redeemable for cash prizes.

With free-to-play games and sports betting, SportsMillions offers the best of both worlds

SportsMillions has two digital apps: One for Pick'em and another combining Blitz'em with Social Casino. But while they have two apps, they're both for iPhone — SportsMillions crucially doesn't have an Android app.

Because of the confusion surrounding their currencies and a strange offering of digital apps, we wouldn't recommend SportsMillions to just anyone. In this review, we'll highlight a few ways you can enjoy SportsMillions and take advantage of promotional offers — and we'll also issue a handful of downsides to keep in mind as you enjoy the platform.

SportsMillions Bonus Offers

With multiple currencies that serve confusing purposes, two iPhone apps with none for Android, and a Blitz'em game that few folks are familiar with, it may not surprise you that SportsMillions' bonus offers for first-time users are a bit convoluted. But we're simplifying things in this review of SportsMillions, so let's get down to brass tacks — SportsMillions offers daily bonus coins, welcome bonuses and has plenty of promotions to make it worth your while.

Sports Millions 10 welcome offer

SportsMillions offers $10 to first-time Pick'em players

Pick'em Welcome Bonus

The simplest bonus offer for first-time users on SportsMillions is a $10 bonus on your first Pick'em deposit.

  1. Join SportsMillions by signing up or logging into your account.
  2. Head to the Pick'em section and browse the latest games and matchups.
  3. Deposit to play your first predictions by choosing whether the stat will be over or under.
  4. Claim your $10.
  5. Keep the action going!

We've compiled a handful of conditions for anyone looking to take advantage of SportsMillions' $10 bonus offer below:

Key Terms & Conditions

  • The promotion is open only for new registered members on SportsMillions.
  • Eligible Entrants will receive extra USD 10 with their first Deposit on Pick'em.
  • Once the deposit has processed, players claim their reward by clicking 'Claim It' on a pop-up.
  • Players must play-through the reward at least once before it becomes eligible for withdrawal.
  • The offer can be claimed once per player during the entire promotional period.
  • Rewards may take up to 24 hours to be rewarded on entrant's SportsMillions account.
  • Anyone abusing this promotion will be removed from promotions and may be suspended.
  • SportsMillions reserves the right to withdraw, modify, or amend this promotion at any time.
  • 18+. Void where prohibited by law.
Coin offers on Sports Millions

SportsMillions offers coins for free and for purchase

Blitz'em & Social Casino Welcome Bonus

If you're looking to make picks on SportsMillions' Blitz'em platform or play games on their social casino, you'll need to load up on some Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins. You'll receive 1,000 GCs and 2.5 SCs from SportsMillions just for signing up. And while 2.5 SCs doesn't get you very far, 1,000 GCs is plenty enough to get started playing. One of SportsMillions' selling points is that they offer free Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins just for logging on each day.

The most important thing to remember about SportsMillions currencies is that Gold Coins cannot be redeemed for real cash prizes, while Sweepstakes Coins can be exchanged for real money at a rate of $1 per SC.

First-time players on the SportsMillions platform are eligible for their Mega 1st Purchase offer which nets users 50,000 Gold Coins for $9.99, plus an additional 25 Sweepstakes Coins for free. Play with Gold Coins as long as they're available in your account, and wager Sweepstakes Coins for a chance to win and exchange earning for cash prizes.

Sports Millions referral bonus offer

SportsMillions offers a generous return for referring new users

SportsMillions Referral Bonuses

Want to earn some free coins? Know some friends who'd like the SportsMillions platform? Refer any new user to SportsMillions and you'll earn $15,000 Gold Coins and 70 Sweepstakes Coins. Here's how it works:

  1. Refer a friend by sending them your unique link
  2. Get 5,000 Gold Coins and 20 Sweepstakes Coins free when they make purchases over $50 with a verified account
  3. Get another 10,000 Gold Coins and 50 Sweepstakes Coins free when they make additional purchases worth $900 or more

SportsMillions also includes a referral bonus for Pick'em users, but we'd suggest reading the fine print before taking advantage of it.

SportsMillions Pick'em Referral Bonus

SportsMillions boasts an offer to be rewarded up to $60 for referring friends to the Pick'em platform, but the steps to actually earn a full $60 are a bit concerning.

  1. Refer a friend by sending them your unique link.
  2. Get $10 when they make deposits of $40 or more with a verified account.
  3. Get another $50 when they make additional deposits worth $500 or more.

As you can see, this is a fine offer if you'd like to earn $10 in rewards in exchange for getting a friend to deposit $40 or more into their account. If your friend is willing to deposit $500 to help you earn an extra $50 in rewards, your friends must be very generous and really like Pick'em games.

How to Play SportsMillions

As we've mentioned, there are three different types of gameplay on SportsMillions: Pick'em, Blitz'em, and social casino. There are also three different currencies you can use to play SportsMillions: real US dollars, Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins. In order to show you how you can play SportsMillions for free or to earn real money, let's break down each mode of gameplay and each type of currency on the platform.

Types of Currency on SportsMillions

Real US Dollars

SportsMillions has one game that you can play by depositing US dollars that will also return real money to your account: Pick'em. While the Blitz'em and social casino games convert your money into coins, Pick'em is a more traditional sports betting game that only uses US dollars, and it's far less confusing than the other games when it comes to depositing and winning money.

Gold Coins (GC)

Now things get a little tricky. For SportsMillions' Blitz'em and social casino games, users can play with either Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins. Gold Coins simply allow you to play the games — they do not earn you real money if you win. And while SportsMillions offers users 100 Gold Coins simply for logging on each day, most users will need to purchase Gold Coins to play for any significant length of time — that is, unless you win a Blitz'em or go on a hot streak in the social casino.

Sweepstakes Coins (SC)

Contrary to Gold Coins, Sweepstakes Coins can be redeemed for real cash prizes. One SC is equal to one US dollar, and SportsMillions required a minimum withdrawal of $10, so if you win enough to get your SC count to 10 or higher, you'll be eligible to turn it into cash and withdraw it. SportsMillions offers .25 Sweepstakes Coins daily for users who log on to the platform, and while SCs aren't available for purchase, they do come in tandem with a purchase of Gold Coins.

Using Each Currency on SportsMillions

Here's the final step of the convoluted SportsMillions currency framework. If you're looking to play Pick'em games, you'll only play with US dollars. But for Blitz'em and social casino games, you will need to choose whether you'd like to play with Gold Coins or Sweepstakes coins.

Gold Coins vs Sweepstakes Coins Mode

Gold Coins vs Sweepstakes Coins Mode on SportsMillions

Choosing Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins

At the top-right of the screen in the SportsMillions interface for Blitz'em and social casino, you'll see a toggle that will allow you to choose to play with Gold Coins for fun or Sweepstakes Coins (see above) that can earn you real cash prizes. Simply click on the currency of your choice to use your selected coin for wagers.

Types of Games on SportsMillions

SportsMillions Pick'em

If you're looking for a traditional daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform that offers a wide variety of picks on a wide variety of contests, you could do far worse than SportsMillions. While traditional sportsbooks offer a more robust selection of sports to bet on and prop bets to choose from, Pick'em on SportsMillions offers fans the opportunity to pick over/unders on a handful of stats for marquee players each day.

Pickem options on Sports Millions

Think Donovan Mitchell can tally 31 or more points + assists in tonight's Cavs game? Think he'll have a hard time reaching 25.5 points against a talented Heat defense? Simply choose "Higher" or "Lower" to make your pick on any prop bets that you'd like to bet on. Choose anywhere between two and 12 picks to place your Pick'em wager.

How to Play SportsMillions Pick'em

  1. Login to your SportsMillions account.

  2. Select your preferred sport.

  3. Pick either higher or lower than the displayed stat on your selected player. For example, you could be asked to pick whether a basketball player will score more or less than 24.5 points in a game.

  4. Choose Higher or Lower for at least 2 different players, up to a maximum of 12. The more players you choose, the higher the potential payout, up to a maximum of 1,500x.

  5. Enter the contest with your selection.

  6. When the event or events are over you win if all your selections are correct.

We'd recommend SportsMillions' Pick'em platform for any sports bettors who like playing daily fantasy sports games and have enough sports knowledge to place their DFS picks confidently. Users might argue that SportsMillions is tailored a bit more to casual sports fans for two reasons: Their Pick'em game leans heavily on marquee teams and players, and their Blitz'em game requires very little knowledge to play.

Player stats may include the following:
  • Basketball: Points; Rebounds; Assists; 3-Pointers.
  • Football: Passing yards; Running yards; Receiving yards; Touchdowns.

  • Baseball: Hits; RBIs; Strikeouts; Home Runs.

  • Hockey: Assists; Shots on goal.

SportsMillions Blitz'em

SportsMillions isn't shy about calling their Blitz'em game exactly what it is. "No sports knowledge? No problem!" they boast in a social media post promoting the game. Like your co-worker who won the office March Madness pool without ever having watched college hoops, Blitz'em offers very casual sports fans an opportunity to get very lucky and earn a big payout.

Example of a Blitzem result on Sports Millions

Example of a Blitz'em result on SportsMillions

Blitz'em is a social sports betting game that begins with users spinning a digital wheel to determine their potential prize. From there, SportsMillions randomly generates legs of a multi-leg parlay that typically includes three to five picks. It's the same idea as winning a parlay on a sportsbook: The odds are very long that every leg hits, so even a small wager of GCs or SCs could net a huge return.

Have no sports knowledge but still want to bet on sports? Try out SportsMillions' Blitz'em game!

Of course, the one thing that makes Blitz'em on SportsMillions most unique is that SportsMillions generates the Blitz'em legs randomly for users. You can choose a player, team, or game, but from there, SportsMillions makes the picks themselves at random. So if you have little to no sports knowledge, Blitz'em could be a great game for your to dip your toe into the waters or sports betting.

How to Play SportsMillions Blitz'em

  1. Login to your SportsMillions account.

  2. Select your preferred sport.

  3. Choose a player, team, or game.

  4. Play with your Gold Coins or Sweepstakes Coins.

  5. Choose Fixed Play or Flex Play if this option is available.

  6. Purchase a ticket or tickets with your coins.

  7. Spin the wheel to discover how much you can win.

  8. Legs are randomly generated.

  9. When the event is over, you win if the legs are correct.

Gold Coins: These coins can be used to play the social legs but have no monetary value.

Fixed Play: This type of win option requires the player to win every one of their legs to claim the prize. So, if there are 5 legs the player must win all 5.

Flex Play: This type of win option requires the player to win some but not all of their legs in order to claim the prize. So, if there are 5 legs the player must win 3 or more. Flex Play jackpots are lower than the equivalent jackpots for Fixed Play.

SportsMillions Social Casino

If you've ever played an online social casino, you'll feel right at home in SportsMillions' social casino lobby. Choose from an enormous array of slots and other casino games and play for fun with Gold Coins or try to win big with Sweepstakes Coins.

Social casino games on Sports Millions

SportsMillions' social casino includes a handful of casino game types, including the following:

  • Jackpot Play

  • Hold and Win

  • Megaways

  • Cascading Reels

  • Slots

In my experience with the SportsMillions platform, the Blitz'em game doesn't provide a great sports betting experience. If you're going to place a parlay comprised of at least three legs, you should probably use a platform that actually lets you make your own picks.

The Pick'em and social casino games, however, are as solid on SportsMillions as they are on most other DFS and social casino sites. If you want to play DFS or social casino games on a platform that offers a welcome bonus and plenty of freebies of their coins, SportsMillions is certainly worth your time.

SportsMillions App Review

In keeping with their standard of confusing their own customers, SportsMillions has a digital app offering that you might struggle to wrap your head around. First of all, SportsMillions does not have an Android app right now. So if you're an Android user who wants to play SportsMillions games, you'll need to do so on desktop.

Betting on Sports Millions Blitzem app

SportsMillions' Blitz'em and social casino app

SportsMillions' Two iPhone Apps

Here's the kicker: Not only does SportsMillions not feature an Android app currently; they have no one iPhone app, but two. SportsMillions has one app for their Pick'em game, and a separate app for their Blitz'em and social casino games. The reason appears to be tied to their different currencies — the Pick'em app allows users to deposit and withdraw US dollars to make DFS picks, while the Blitz'em and social casino app utilizes the Gold and Sweepstakes Coin currencies.

S Ms two i Phone apps

SportsMillions' Pick'em and Blitz'em app icons

If you're trying to download either of SportsMillions' apps from the Apple App Store, you may even have trouble finding them. That's because SportsMillions chose to name their apps using "SM" to save characters instead of "SportsMillions."

The SportsMillions apps official App Store names are the following:

  • SM Pick'em Fantasy Sports
  • SM Sports & Casino Games

Sure, the names help users identify exactly what the app will provide when they download it. But as you can see above, the Blitz'em and social casino app simply says "Blitz'em" in the app logo.

If you're able to comprehend SportsMillions' approach to their apps and currencies, you're either very smart, or — hopefully — you read this review first.

Where Is SportsMillions Legal to Play?

As with every sportsbook, DFS site, online casino or pick'em game, SportsMillions is only legal in certain US states. Luckily for us, you can play games on SportsMillions in 20+ states. But the legality of SportsMillions doesn't just depend on state; it also depends on which games you'd like to play.

Below, you'll find a list of states in which you can play Pick'em, Blitz'em, or social casino games on SportsMillions. While there are 20 states in which you can play Pick'em, you'll find several more states available to play Blitz'em and social casino games.

Customer Support on SportsMillions

Before digging into any sportsbook or sports betting alternative like SportsMillions, you should make sure they have adequate customer support in case any issues arise. Lucky for you, we've tracked down their customer service options.

SportsMillions has a pretty good system for customer support which includes a form submission, but if you want access to all of SportsMillions' customer support options, you're going to have to pay for it.

Here are SportsMillions' customer support options:

  • 24/7 form submission
  • FAQ on website and both iPhone apps
  • Live chat for paying customers

To get access to SportsMillions' live chat, you simply need to make a purchase for a package of Gold Coins. At that point, you'll have customer service representatives available via live chat 24 hours a day.

Deposits & Withdrawals on SportsMillions

Unfortunately, the available options for depositing and withdrawing funds from your SportsMillions account leave a bit to be desired. In this section, we'll break down the payment methods and available options for depositing and withdrawing funds, whether it's real dollars or a cash prize.

Payment Options

To deposit money or withdraw funds from your Pick'em or Blitz'em account on SportsMillions, you'll need to use one of the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Discover Card

Unfortunately, SportsMillions does not accept Venmo or PayPal as payment options for deposits and withdrawals.

Withdrawing Money From SportsMillions

SportsMillions is up front with customers about their $10 minimum withdrawal, a detail that won't land them much scrutiny. But, of course, there's a catch. If you want to withdraw money from SportsMillions, keep these facts in mind:

Pick'em

  • Withdraw funds at any time
  • Minimum $10 withdrawal
  • Eligible to withdraw US dollars

Blitz'em & Social Casino

  • Redeem a gift card with at least 10 Sweepstakes Coins
  • Redeem cash prizes with a minimum of 75 SCs
  • 1 Sweepstakes Coin = 1 US dollar

Most users have reported receiving cash withdrawals within two days, while it typically takes up to three days to receive a gift card via email.

SportsMillions' limited options for payment methods and minimum of 75 SCs for earning cash prizes are both negative aspects of their platform, but as long as you're comfortable using one of their payment options and are aware of the 75-SC minimum, you'll be in good shape to enjoy games on SportsMillions.
