Ohio Online Sports Betting
The Ohio state legislature passed HB29, a bill to legalize online sports betting in December 2021. A few days later, Governor Mike DeWine signed the bill into law, paving the way for online sportsbooks to come to the Buckeye State.
Online sports betting in Ohio officially launched on January 1st, 2023
From there, sports betting operators had until July 15th to submit applications to enter market in Ohio. Nearly 30 operators teamed up with a local licensing partner to submit their application
