Caesars Sportsbook Review

Caesars Sportsbook has become an inescapable mainstay in sports culture over the past two years, with ads featuring JB Smoove's Caesar and the Manning family flooding the airwaves. Even if you're annoyed by the commercials, there's no denying that Caesars backs up the noise with one of the best online sportsbooks in the country.

The best arrow in Caesars' quiver is probably the easy-to-use mobile app. It feels modern yet simple and packed with betting features. This package makes it a great entry point for beginners to start betting on sports.

On the betting side, users can find some of the most generous lines on the market, boosted by the most daily odds boosts offered by any bookie. That plus an onslaught of regular promotions add a ton of value to the betting experience.

Caesars Sportsbook Review

One downside of the simple experience is a lack of some deeper features that have become popular on other sites. The live betting experience on Caesars Sportsbook is fairly vanilla, with the notable exception of exclusive NFL live streaming.

Users looking for a niche betting experience may be a little disappointed, but Caesars has same game parlays for major American sports. The markets there are not as expansive as FanDuel or Bet365's, but it's a solid-enough starting point.

We hope that this feature is expanded to more sports and that live same game parlay is added in the future.

Users in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia do get to experience all the features of the Caesars Online Casino. If you’re in one of these states, Caesars Sportsbook is a great option to consolidate your gambling apps.

Overall, Caesars Sportsbook is an outstanding experience, that is arguably the best online sportsbook in the country. If you’re looking for a sportsbook that covers all the basics extremely well, Caesars Sportsbook might just be the right choice for you.

Try Caesars Sportsbook if... 👍

📈 You Want Great Odds

Caesars Sportsbook has a bit of an advantage in terms of odds.

They already set generous lines that are on-par or better than those of the major competitors, but where they really pull ahead is the amount of odds boosts offered on a daily basis.

Each and every day, Caesars Sportsbook juices the lines on dozens of wagers, on most days more than any of the other major bookies.

When you factor in the great lines and sheer quantity of odds boosts, bettors can get a lot of added value on Caesars.

📲 You Want an App that's Easy to Use

When asked, bettors often say that ease of use is a major factor for them when choosing a sportsbook. The good news here is that Caesars has one of the smoothest and best-designed sports betting apps on the market.

It's supremely easy to navigate, with a carousel at the top of the page featuring all the major sports as well as tabs for the promotions, betslip, and casino at the bottom. Promos are also never in short supply, with odds boosts heavily featured throughout just about every section of the app.

It's one of the best apps out there, comparable with BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook.

🏈 You Want NFL Live Streaming

During the 2022-23 season, Caesars Sportsbook broke new ground by offering users the chance to live stream select NFL games directly through the app.

Caesars was the first - and so far, only - sportsbook to offer live streaming of the NFL so this was a major coup.

If you want to live stream and bet on the NFL, there is only one place to do that - Caesars Sportsbook.

Avoid Caesars Sportsbook if... 👎

⏰ You Want Many Live Betting Features

While the live streaming of NFL games is a big plus, the live betting features of Caesars Sportsbook are just a little bit of a letdown.

The live game tracking works well enough and odds are updated relatively quickly, but there just aren't as many ways to bet on live games as with other platforms.

There's no live same game parlay, which has become extremely popular on other platforms. There is also no microbetting feature, that has become standard among a few other sportsbooks.

When compared to competitors like PointsBet (which features Live Same Game Parlays, Microbetting, and the fastest-updated odds on the market), it is hard to rate Caesars very highly.

💳 You Want to Use Venmo

This is a bit of a minor quibble, but Caesars Sportsbook doesn't accept Venmo for deposits or withdrawals quite yet.

PayPal and Skrill are both available, but they are currently the only e-wallets.

The banking at Caesars is decent enough, but it is worth pointing out that the popular payment service is available on some other major sportsbooks, like FanDuel Sportsbook.

Comparing Caesars to the Competition

Caesars Sportsbook is one of the biggest sportsbooks in the US right now, but there is plenty of tough competition out there. DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook are currently ahead of Caesars in terms of market share and offer phenomenal products themselves.

Below, we've compared Caesars to these market leaders. If you're interested, you can read more about the competitors, or keep scrolling to learn more about Caesars Sportsbook.

Caesars Sportsbook Promotions

Iphone Displaying Caesars Sportsbook's Odds Boosts

Caesars features an incredibla amount of odds boosts

Caesars Sportsbook is phenomenal at rewarding return players through a generous amount of ongoing existing customer promotions. While some sportsbooks get you hooked with the sign up bonus and then forget about you, Caesars incentivizes you to return and bet on the platform.

Some popular recurring promotions include:

  • Odds Boosts - Every day Caesars offers users juiced odds for certain bets. These wagers are easily accessed through dedicated 'Boosts' pages on both the app and desktop site. Caesars offers users possibly the biggest and best suit of odds boosts on the market, even when compared to big-name competitors like FanDuel Sportsbook and PointsBet.
  • Caesars Rewards - Gain rewards points towards Caesars Casino and Hotel stays just by betting on Caesars Sportsbook!
  • Refer-A-Friend - Get a $100 bet credit if your friend joins and deposits a minimum of $50.

These are great deals for returning customers, and Caesars is a bit better than many of their competitors, in my opinion. These individual promotions all have their own Terms & Conditions so make sure to read your T's & C's!

You do not need to be a resident, but you must be physically located in one of these states to play and at least 21 years old.

Caesars Sportsbook Betting Variety

Iphone Displaying Caesars Sportsbooks Same Game Parlay

Caesars Sportsbook offers Same Game Parlays for NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL

While maybe not as deep or diverse as some of the competition, Caesars Sportsbook offers users the most popular sports as well as daily odds boosts and promotions to spice things up and give you some extra value. The full list of sports varies a bit from state to state, but the sportsbook has done a good job of adding more niche sports over the past year.

In 2021, Caesars added same game parlays for NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB. This feature is executed well enough for the major sports, but doesn't quite have the same depth as the competitors

Between the easily accessible app, solid execution of basic features, and regular promotions, Caesars provides sports bettors with a great basic betting experience that is ideal for beginners or hobbyists. Hardcore bettors may look to sportsbooks like Bet365 for a more in-depth betting experience.

      Caesars Sportsbook Betting Features

      Caesars Sportsbook Same Game Parlay

Caesars Sportsbook has long offered traditional parlays, teasers, and round robins. In 2021, Caesars added same game parlays to their repertoire.

Users can create Same Game parlays for NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL games. While it's a solid execution, there is a bit missing here, when compared to the other major sportsbooks.

We'd like more sports to be available (soccer seems like a no-brainer), and the depth of markets within each game is a bit lacking when juxtaposed with FanDuel or BetMGM.

It's by no means bad, but there is room for improvement.

      Caesars Sportsbook Odds

William Hill always offered competitive odds, and Caesars Sportsbook has luckily continued that aspect of its legacy. The odds you'll find here are as reliable as any you'll find on a US sportsbook.

Plus, Caesars offers users an incredible amount of odds boosts every day, so you'll always be able to take advantage of great offers.

      Caesars Sportsbook Cash Out

Caesars Sportsbook offers users the chance to cash out their wagers. This way you can cut your losses on a bad bet and avoid bad beats for winners.

Cash out is available on mobile and desktop.

      Caesars Sportsbook Live Betting

Iphone Displaying Caesars Sportsbooks Live Betting

Caesars Sportsbook's live betting is decent, but isn't quite as good as some of the competitors' offerings

The Caesars Sportsbook live experience is really good but doesn't meet the expectations set by the extremely high quality of the site's other features.

The live game trackers Caesars offers are decent enough, you get to watch the action virtually while you place wagers. Odds are updated fairly quickly, but you won't be blown away.

When compared to operators like PointsBet and BetMGM, the lack of a live same game parlay feature was a disappointment.

It's not like you'll have a bad experience live betting on Caesars, but they've just set such a high standard in other regards that such a crucial element of the betting experience failing to live up to expectations stuck out like a sore thumb during the review process.

      Caesars NFL Live Streaming

      Caesars sportsbook NFL Live Streaming

One area where Caesars Sportsbook has improved its live betting faculties significantly is the addition of live streaming for select NFL games during the 2022 season.

In previous iterations of this review, we knocked Caesars for failing to offer live streaming, so becoming the first and only sportsbook to begin offering NFL live streaming was a boon for the product.

Caesars is the only US sportsbook to offer NFL live streaming

The ability to watch and bet on America's game all on one platform was a one-of-a-kind addition that no other sportsbook can match.

In the future, we hope that Caesars adds live streaming for other major sports, such as the NHL and MLB - both of which are available on BetMGM and FanDuel Sportsbook.

      Caesars Sportsbook App

      Caesars Sportsbook App 2023

The Caesars Sportsbook app offers users a convenient, easy-to-navigate experience that provides you with all of the basics. It's simple, yet sleek and makes for a betting experience that is very easy for both rookies and sharps to pick up and play.

The functionality of the sports betting carousel featured at the top of the page and the key tabs at the bottom make for a clean user interface that doesn’t throw too much at you.

When clicking through different games the app can move a little slowly, but it is not very noticeable after you have used it for a while and doesn't inhibit live betting based on my time reviewing the app.

The Caesars Sportsbook App is both sleekly designed and easy to use, making it an ideal betting app for beginners

Few sports betting apps can match the combination of design and function of the Caesars app.

While Bet365 and DraftKings Sportsbook both offer deep betting experiences, they can't match the aesthetically pleasing and easy-to-use nature of the Caesars Sportsbook app. FanDuel's mobile app is probably the one that comes closest to matching Caesars on the mobile front, but even that's debatable.

The Caesars Sportsbook and Casino app is available on both the App Store and Google Play

      Caesars Sportsbook Payment Options

In terms of banking variety, Caesars Sportsbook goes above and beyond many of its competitors, featuring a diverse suite of methods for deposits and withdrawals.

The big piece missing here is Venmo, which is an available banking method on DraftKings and FanDuel. Once Caesars adds Venmo, it will be one of the best sportsbooks for banking on the market.

      Caesars Sportsbook Deposits

For deposits, users have the following options to choose from:

      • Visa or MasterCard debit/credit card
      • ACH
      • PayPal
      • Skrill
      • Play+ card
      • Cash at select in-person locations

The minimum deposit for credit/debit cards is $5, while all other options require $10. Deposits are typically available in your account instantly.

It's definitely a really nice set of payment methods to choose from. We wish that the low minimum deposit for cards was standard for all payment methods, but even the $10 requirement is comparable to just about every sportsbook on the market

      Caesars Sportsbook Withdrawal Process

While withdrawal options are a little more limited, there’s still plenty here for users. You can utilize the following options to retrieve your cash:

      • ACH
      • PayPal
      • Skrill
      • Play+ card
      • Cash at select in-person locations
      • Check

The minimum withdrawal for ACH transfers and checks is $25, $10 on PayPal, and $5 for the Play+ card. There is no minimum for withdrawals using Skrill or cash.

With the exception of checks, Caesars strives to process all withdrawals within 3 business days.

This is an extensive and user-friendly set of withdrawal options and will rival any competitor. We wish the minimum requirement was lower for ACH especially, but even that is a minor quibble given the amount of methods at your disposal.

      Caesars Sportsbook PayPal

Caesars Sportsbook supports PayPal for both easy, safe, and secure deposits and withdrawals. The minimum deposit and withdrawal using PayPal is $10.

Another growing e-wallet service, Skrill, is supported by Caesars. With Skrill, there is no minimum on deposits and withdrawals, making it one of the most convenient ways to bank with the sportsbook.

      Caesars Online Casino

Up to $1,000 First Bet on Caesars
Iphone Displaying Caesars Online Casino App

Caesars features a large array of live table games

Users in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia all get the added entertainment of the Caesars Online Casino.

Here, you’ll find everything from live table games like Poker and Blackjack, as well as virtual slots. If you want to take your winnings from the Giants’ game and go all-in on one hand of Texas Hold ‘Em, you’re free to do just that.

In particular, we find their live table game selection to be second to none - a great variety of games makes for a fun online gambling experience.

      Caesars Sportsbook Customer Service

Caesars Sportsbook features a great suite of customer support options for users experiencing difficulties with the sportsbook. They feature a live chat, helpline, email support, and a help center page.

The email addresses are even customized by state, so you know you are getting help from someone familiar with the various rules and regulations of the state in which you are wagering.

Sports have been a passion of mine my entire life. Growing up in South Jersey, the influence of Philadelphia sports was massive. Some of my first memories include rooting for Allen Iverson's Sixers and Donovan McNabb's Eagles.

Luckily, I was also living in New Jersey when PASPA was overturned and DraftKings Sportsbook launched in 2018. After years of consuming sports media that talked about betting, I was finally able to place my own wagers. Needless to say, I haven't looked back since.

It is now my privilege to guide our readers toward the best sports betting experience possible.
