Once the Supreme Court struck down PASPA in 2018, each state was allowed to legalize online sports betting at their own discretion. In Vermont, Governor Phil Scott signed the bill legalizing online sports betting into law on June 14, 2023.
After months of build-up, legal online sports betting became available to Vermont residents on January 11th, 2024.
