FanDuel Predicts Review
Welcome to Sportsbooks Online's review of FanDuel Predicts, a brand new prediction market app from FanDuel that launched in late 2025. In this review, we'll explain what prediction markets are, what FanDuel Predicts is, and how you can use it to bet on sports. We'll also break down their promotions and rewards, payment and withdrawal options, mobile app, customer service and more.
Because we focus on sports betting sites and apps here at Sportsbooks Online, we'll focus mainly on FanDuel Predicts' sports markets and compare them to other prediction markets, sportsbooks, pick'em sites and more.
First, let's introduce you to FanDuel Predicts and teach you the basics of how it works.
What Is FanDuel Predicts?
You're likely familiar with FanDuel, a company that launched in 2009 offering daily fantasy sports (DFS) games for sports fans who wanted to make sports predictions without being stuck with the same lineup in a season-long fantasy league. When a federal ban on sports betting was struck down in 2019 in the US, FanDuel was one of the first to develop a sports betting product that allowed bettors to bet on sports from the comfort of their own home. FanDuel Sportsbook quickly became one of the top sportsbooks online in the US and is still one of the most popular in the US.
Now, as the federal government and the CFTC work to keep prediction markets legal and available in every US state, FanDuel launched FanDuel Predicts to bring their world-famous sports betting brand to the world of prediction markets.

Learn the basics of FanDuel Predicts
If you're looking to use FanDuel Predicts to bet on sports, you'll find the product quite similar to FanDuel Sportsbook and other sports betting apps. With FanDuel Predicts, however, odds aren't chosen by bookmakers in Vegas or elsewhere; with prediction markets like FanDuel Predicts, odds are determined by the wagers placed by all users at large. If the public is evenly split between two teams to win a game, they'll both have odds of +100. As one side accumulates more backers than the other, their odds will go down while the opposite side will go up.
Because you're trading sports contracts — the terminology prediction markets use to distinguish themselves from traditional betting apps — you also won't be subjected to a vig, or a fee that goes to the house. On FanDuel Predicts, you're just betting against other bettors, arguably creating a more fair and lucrative way to bet on sports.
What Are Prediction Markets?
Prediction markets like Kalshi have been rising in prominence in the US in recent years, mostly because the federal government has been working with the CFTC to keep them legal in all 50 states. Broadly, prediction markets allow you to put money on anything from the weather to the stock market, commodities, political elections, awards shows and more. This has created enormous ethical concerns in the US, as users can now earn money betting on things like civilian deaths in Gaza, when world leaders will be overthrown, and even when Jesus will return, a popular market on Polymarket.
For our purposes here at Sportsbooks Online, though, we do view prediction markets as legitimate sports betting platforms. In fact, we'd argue that prediction markets should only be used for things like sports betting, as they create a more free and fair way to wager money on sports outcomes without being subject to Vegas odds or vig payments.
It's through that lens that we'll review FanDuel Predicts on this page, breaking down the same elements with which we review sportsbooks. Let's start by discussing their mobile app, its functionality and look along with some user reviews.
FanDuel Predicts App Review
At the time of this writing, FanDuel Predicts' mobile app has been active for just a few months, so we're reviewing a product that's fresh off the assembly line. While you may use mobile apps for FanDuel Sportsbook or FanDuel Fantasy and enjoy how quickly and efficiently they operate, you won't have quite the same experience with the FanDuel Predicts app.
Still in its infancy, the FanDuel Predicts app has gotten some very negative user reviews for various reasons. In our experience, the app functions okay, but takes a quick beat to think before moving from page to page. We're not coders or programmers, but the amount of work the app has to do to prevent certain markets in specific geolocations seems to be using up most of its brain power.

Snapshot of the FanDuel Predicts app
The look and feel of the FanDuel Predicts app, on the other hand, does operate on par with other top-tier FanDuel apps. The design is obviously quite similar, and a well-organized and visually appealing app does make up for some of its hiccups.
If you already have an account with another FanDuel product, you'll be able to download the FanDuel Predicts app and login with your existing credentials, even though there isn't a shared wallet with FanDuel Predicts. But if you're in a state that doesn't permit trading sports contracts, the app can appear a bit barren, with only financial and commodity trades available for your predictions.

Toggle display modes on the FanDuel Predicts app
Finally, as you'll see in the image above, the FanDuel Predicts app matches other prediction market apps like Kalshi in its ability to display odds and prices however the user sees fit. Sports fans may prefer seeing traditional odds, while folks trading non-sports contracts on things like gold futures may prefer the multiplier display that shows their potential return ratio. Users can also select probabilities to be shown in percent or in cents for dollar pricing.
Okay, it's time to rip the band-aid off. Let's take a look at some of those difficult user reviews of the FanDuel Predicts app:

Withdrawals are trash. I had to wait 1-2 business days for my $40 to clear then it disappeared.

Large spreads, high fees, no ability to place limit orders, no sports in my state. Seems like this was done to pump their stock instead of creating a good product.

No enough info to make it worthwhile.

Why does it take days to get paid out? You just want people to keep betting. Pretty sad.
Sports Betting Features on FanDuel Predicts
While you can trade contracts on sports events and futures with FanDuel Predicts, you won't have the same betting experience that you might have with a traditional sportsbook, whether that be FanDuel Sportsbook or otherwise. Because FanDuel's marketing strategy in states where they don't allow sports contracts is to tell prospective bettors to simply use their sportsbook, it does feel like their sports betting features suffer as a result.
Like one FanDuel Predicts app reviewer suggested, if FanDuel isn't interested in making Predicts a top-tier betting app, maybe they just created it to boost their stock.

Sports betting features on FanDuel Predicts
The sports betting features available on FanDuel Predicts are essentially the basics — take a side on spreads and totals and choose from a selection of player and team prop bets at your leisure on their mobile app. One exception is live betting — because prediction markets can adjust probabilities up until the end of an event, sports contracts are open through the duration of a game, simulating a live betting experience.
Also, like all prediction markets, users can cash out of contracts at any time, with payouts increasing as a user's prediction becomes more likely and vice versa if they're becoming less likely. As far as sports betting is concerned, this simulates a popular cash out feature that traditional sportsbooks occasionally offer.
If you aren't looking for unique bets, pre-built parlays or specialty markets, FanDuel Predicts presents an adequate sports betting experience that's leveled up by the fact that there's no vig fee delivered to the house like a traditional sportsbook.
Some prediction markets like Kalshi permit parlay betting on sports markets — Kalshi calls these "combos" in order to stay compliant with sports betting laws. However, on FanDuel Predicts, you cannot combine picks for longer odds. If you select one market and then select another, your betslip will simply adjust from your first pick to your second. Just a heads up!
Getting Started on FanDuel Predicts
Ready to create an account on FanDuel Predicts? There are just a few steps you'll need to complete, and they're typical requirements for a prediction market or sports betting app. Once you download the mobile app, choose a username and password or log in with the credentials you use from another FanDuel product if applicable.
After you've initiated the account creation process, FanDuel Predicts will ask you a handful of questions about your financial background and trading experience, a practice that they say allows them to avoid fraud and remain compliant with betting laws.

Getting started on FanDuel Predicts
Once you've created an account and submitted your answers to FanDuel's questions about your background, you're all set to start making picks, predictions and wagers. FanDuel Predicts features this helpful guide on their website that serves as a quick overview of how to trade contracts on their mobile app:

How to make picks on FanDuel Predicts
Promotions & Rewards on FanDuel Predicts
There's not much to say about FanDuel Predicts' promotions and rewards system. In fact...
👎 There is no welcome offer for new users
👎 There are no perks or rewards of any kind
👎 There are no boosts on markets or no-sweat picks
If you're looking to use FanDuel Predicts to bet on sports — or anything, for that matter — this should be a pretty big red flag. While prediction markets don't always offer boosts or no-sweat picks, most of them do feature a welcome bonus and some kind of rewards system. This means that FanDuel isn't actually trying to drive new users to their prediction markets app, which should raise plenty of questions about why it actually exists.
That doesn't change the fact that FanDuel Predicts is legal, safe to use and completely fair. But if we're giving their product an honest review, FanDuel Predicts simply does not take promotions and rewards seriously.
Sports Available on FanDuel Predicts
If you're looking to bet on sports on FanDuel Predicts, you may first want to check out which states allow you to trade sports contracts on the platform. While prediction markets are legal in every state, many states don't permit action on sports markets because it interferes with sportsbooks and sports betting operations in the state.
We asked reps from FanDuel Predicts for a comprehensive list of all sports offered on FanDuel Predicts in states where sports markets are offered, and they didn't particularly care for the question. The FanDuel Predicts team says that sports and events are constantly changing and a complete list is not available. However, we did the legwork to research which sports have been available so far and which ones are anticipated to show up when their season begins.
Here's our most complete list of sports available on FanDuel Predicts:
Sports Typically Available on FanDuel Predicts

- Baseball

- Darts
- Football
- Golf

Where Is FanDuel Predicts Available?
Where is FanDuel Predicts available in the US? Everywhere!
But there's a catch.
Here's the deal: Currently, prediction markets are legal in all 50 US states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. That includes states like California and Texas where sports betting isn't legal. Why? That's because prediction markets use creative language to distinguish themselves from betting platforms, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is run by folks who are more than willing to skip the fine print in order to keep prediction markets legal.
The catch? You can't use prediction markets to trade contracts on sports in every US state.
Currently, FanDuel Predicts does not offer sports markets in the following states:
- Arizona
- Colorado
- Connecticut
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Maine
- Maryland
- Michigan
- Missouri
- North Carolina
- New Jersey
- New York
- Ohio
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- Virginia
- Vermont
- West Virginia
- Wyoming
- Washington D.C.
If you're in one of these states, you'll still be able to use FanDuel Predicts, but sports simply won't be featured on the platform. If you'd like to bet on sports in any of these states, navigate to our homepage and select your state to find a complete list of sports betting options in your state. Also keep in mind that FanDuel Sportsbook is legal in most of these states.
Payment Options on FanDuel Predicts
Payment options for both deposits and withdrawals for prediction markets like FanDuel Predicts are similar to those offered by traditional sportsbooks, and FanDuel Predicts offers a similar suite to their FanDuel Sportsbook payment options. In keeping with the semantic gymnastics prediction markets use in order to remain legally compliant, they often use different nomenclature than what you might expect.
On FanDuel Predicts, the money you have available in your account — what a sportsbook would call an account balance — is instead called "Buying Power." After you deposit money, those funds are available as Buying Power that you can use to purchase contracts in hopes of earning cash prizes. It's the same as sports betting, but as long as we all agree to call it something different, it's legal in more states.

Deposits and Payments on FanDuel Predicts
Whether you're ready to make your first deposit or looking for a list of ways you can redeem your earnings from your FanDuel Predicts account, here are the payment options available at your disposal:
- Debit Card

- US Bank

- Navy Federal Credit Union
- Bank of America
- Chase
- Chime
- BMO
- Huntington
- Citi Bank
- USAA

If you're looking to use a credit card, you won't be in luck with FanDuel Predicts.
FanDuel stopped permitting credit cards for deposits and withdrawals in March 2026. While we're on board with FanDuel removing bettors' ability to bet on credit, we do think having more payment options like Apple Pay, PayPal and Venmo would benefit FanDuel Predicts players.
Oftentimes when a brand like FanDuel has multiple games and mobile apps, they'll give users one virtual wallet for all of the money in their account to be used on any of their apps. If you play FanDuel Fantasy for DFS, for example, you'll be able to use funds from your FanDuel Sportsbook wallet.
Unfortunately, FanDuel Predicts doesn't operate this way. Because prediction markets are held to different standards than sportsbooks and DFS apps, FanDuel Predicts has its own wallet that can't be used on other FanDuel apps.
Customer Support on FanDuel Predicts
Before using any prediction market app or online sportsbook, users should make sure they're comfortable with the customer service options available. Why is this important? Well, stuff happens. Because you're dealing with a mobile app that connects to banks, accepts and delivers cash, and constantly updates odds and probabilities, even the best betting apps occasionally present issues for bettors.
One unique way that FanDuel Predicts aims to help its users is with the "Learn" tab on their mobile app.

The "Learn" tab on FanDuel Predicts
The information in the "Learn" tab is helpful, but mostly elementary information that may not help everyone in a pinch. Call us cynical, but maybe if FanDuel Predicts had a rewards system, they'd use this tab to feature that instead of basic information about their product and industry.
The other customer service options made available by FanDuel Predicts include an FAQ on their website and a chat feature within their app. While most chat features on sportsbooks and prediction market apps and operated by bots, FanDuel Predicts does include real customer service agents when necessary. All user chats begin with a bot that will ask a handful of questions to ensure they find the right representative before a FanDuel rep jumps into the chat to help out.
