What Is Fanatics FanCash?

FanCash is Fanatics' currency in their rewards program, which you can earn by placing bets and purchasing merch, then redeem for Bonus Bets and discounts on Fanatics purchases. If you're new to Fanatics Sportsbook, one of the first things you'll notice when logging into their sports betting app is a pair of prominently displayed dollar amounts. One of them, of course, is the balance you have available in your count to place bets. The other? That's FanCash.

So, how does FanCash work? We'll get into plenty of detail describing Fanatics' rewards system on this page, but in short: You place bets on Fanatics, you earn FanCash — then you can choose how to use it and what to redeem. It's one of the most useful styles of sportsbook rewards because it doesn't just apply to sports betting; you can also use it to buy your favorite team's Fanatics gear.

How to Use FanCash

Using FanCash is nearly as simple as using real money. And Fanatics isn't just giving FanCash to sportsbook users who place bets in their app — they're also distributing FanCash to anyone who buys merch on the Fanatics app and even from Topps trading cards. And once users earn that FanCash and accumulate enough of it, they can redeem it for a variety of rewards.

Let's break down how you can earn FanCash from Fanatics and what it can be used to redeem.

How to Earn FanCash

  • Fanatics Sportsbook: Earn up to 10% FanCash on your bets, win or lose
  • Fanatics Markets: Earn up to 10% FanCash on your trades, win or lose
  • Fanatics App: Get up to 5% FanCash with every purchase on the Fanatics app
  • Topps.com: Get 2% FanCash with eligible purchases on Topps.com

How You Can Spend FanCash

Users who earn FanCash can spend their FanCash in the following ways:

  • Sports Betting & Predictions: Use FanCash in the sportsbook app to place bets the same way you'd use bonus bets on other sportsbook apps; use it in a similar way on the Fanatics Markets app, where you make trades instead of placing bets
  • Shop: Spend FanCash on jerseys, hats, hoodies and more on the Fanatics app
  • Get Tickets: Use FanCash to buy tickets to sporting and entertainment events through their partnership with Ticketmaster
  • Chase Hits: Spend FanCash on sports trading cards, memorabilia and collectibles on the Fanatics Live app, Fanatics' dedicated livestream shopping platform where users can watch approved creators and hobby experts open new products in real-time and buy slots for "card breaks"

Fanatics ONE Explained

An important thing to know about FanCash is that it's a part of the Fanatics ONE rewards system. Many sportsbooks and gaming apps give users points for playing that can be redeemed for profit boosts or bonus bets — FanDuel just introduced their Rewards Club, for example.

What Is Fanatics ONE?

Fanatics ONE is Fanatics' loyalty program that rewards sports and entertainment fans for their engagement across the Fanatics ecosystem. Members earn FanCash and tier points for their activity. As you earn tier points, you progress up tiers and unlock exclusive benefits and experiences.

With Fanatics, rewards come in the form of FanCash that has an equal value to US dollars when redeemed. This has a couple of benefits for users:

  • You don't have to track your own progress. Many sportsbooks require you to accrue a certain amount of points in order to redeem prizes. This can make it annoying for users to keep checking how many points they have and how many they need to redeem a bonus. With Fanatics, your FanCash is prominently displayed and equal to real money.

  • You don't have to reach a certain threshold to use FanCash — save for the $0.10 minimum, but you'll want to redeem more than 10 cents anyway. Instead of having to reach a square number like 1,000 points, for example, you'll always be able to use as much of your FanCash as you want on Bonus Bets and merch purchases.

There are different tiers to Fanatics ONE that require thresholds and points, on the other hand — let's get into how those work.

FanCash Tiers

Like many sportsbook rewards systems, Fanatics One operates on a tiered system — rewards improve as you climb to higher tiers. As a result, the ways you can earn and use FanCash also gradually improve as you climb to higher tiers, and you also get a nice bonus in FanCash for graduating into a new tier.
