What Are Squad Bets?

Fanatics Sportsbook's new Squad Bets feature was released in 2026 to transform the traditional sports betting parlay into a collective pursuit of a shared outcome. Instead of adding single player performances to a parlay, bettors pick a market, set a statistical target, and assemble a group of players whose combined output works together to hit that goal.

Because winning a Squad Bet relies on the whole squad's performance rather than that of any single player, a bet stays alive even if one star falls short; another player can carry it forward for the win. Every player moves the squad closer, and the excitement builds toward one shared breakthrough.

Parlay With Squad Bets

The result is a more intuitive, resilient, and high-energy betting experience, one that mirrors how fans already experience sport: through teams and shared outcomes in the pursuit of a W.

Squad Bet Settlement Rules

Fair Play is now active for Squad Bets.

How Fair Play Works

  • One player voided after any player is in-play
    • If any selected player is in-play and another player is voided before or after their game:
    • Settlement:
      • If the bet wins: Win
      • If the bet loses: Void
  • Player Voided Before Any Games Start If a player is voided before all games in the Squad Bet begin:
    • Settlement: The entire wager will be Voided.

Prematch & Post-Game Voids

  • Player Not in Starting Lineup (non MLB)
    • If a player does not start but enters the game as a substitute:
      • Settlement: The selection does not void and will settle as Win or Loss.

Stat Amendments

Stat corrections sometimes occur after a game has ended. Here's how those are handled:

  • Scenario 1
    • A player was originally credited with 15 points and your Squad Bet settled as a Win. Later, a stat correction changes the player's total to 14 points (which would have resulted in a loss).
    • Settlement: If your bet was already settled as a Win, it will remain a Win.
  • Scenario 2
    • A player was originally credited with 14 points and your Squad Bet settled as a Loss. Later, a stat correction changes the player's total to 15 points (which would have resulted in a win).
    • Settlement: If your bet has been settled as a Loss, it will be changed to a Win.

Bet Drops Below Minimum Player Requirement

Squad Bets must include 2 to 8 players. If one of three players is voided after a game has started, reducing the bet below the minimum requirement:

  • Settlement:
    • If the bet wins: Win
    • If the bet loses: Void
