FanDuel Sportsbook No-Brainer Welcome Offer

Week 1 of the college football season is just days away, and FanDuel Sportsbook has just introduced their new "no-brainer" welcome offer: Bet just $1 on "1+ points to be scored" in the opener between Clemson and LSU, and get $100 in Bonus Bets when — not if — the bet hits!

FanDuel Sportsbook No Brainer Clemson vs LSU

No-Brainer Welcome Offer Explained

So, what makes FanDuel's new welcome offer a "no-brainer"? In college football, no game can end in a 0-0 tie; even if regulation ends in a scoreless tie, the game will go to overtime, with both teams getting a chance to score until the game is decided.

As a result, this offer is equivalent to betting $1 to get $100 in Bonus Bets, risk-free. So why ask users to place a $1 bet? That's because FanDuel welcome offers, like most sportsbook welcome offers, requires users to make a wager to receive the welcome bonus.

Don't overthink it: If you haven't signed up for FanDuel Sportsbook yet and want to create an account, now is a great time to do it, because this offer expires on Sept. 5. We do, however, anticipate that FanDuel will be utilizing their "no-brainer" style of welcome offer more in the future.

Using FanDuel in AR or MO?

If you're hoping to create an account with FanDuel Sportsbook to claim their no-brainer college football welcome offer, you won't be eligible to claim the offer on the Clemson-LSU matchup in Week 1. Instead, users in Arkansas can claim the same offer on Arkansas' Week 1 game against NAB and Missouri users can claim the same offer on Mizzou's matchup against ARP.

The offer works the exact same way: New users can bet $1 and get $100 in Bonus Bets if 1+ points are scored in the game (which will happen). Users in AR and MO are also eligible to choose FanDuel's national welcome offer instead if they prefer.

Here's how to claim FanDuel Sportsbook's no-brainer welcome offer:

  1. Download the FanDuel Sportsbook app or visit their sportsbook on the web
  2. Create a new account
  3. Make a deposit of $5 or more
  4. Place your first cash wager of at least $1 on the "1+ Point to be Scored" market for the LSU vs. Clemson game
    1. AR vs. NAB for AR users
    2. MO vs. ARP for MO users
  5. Get $100 in Bonus Bets if 1 or more points are scored in the game
    1. Bonus Bets will be credited within 72 hours of bet settlement
    2. Bonus Bets are nonwithdrawable and expire 7 days after receipt
    3. Limit of one promotional bonus per person

Get $350 in Bonus Bets When you Wager $5 for 7 Days

While FanDuel's new welcome offer is a total no-brainer — college football games cannot end in a 0-0 tie, so you're guaranteed to net $100 in Bonus Bets if you claim the offer — you can still choose to opt in to FanDuel's national sportsbook welcome offer if you choose.

FanDuel's "Get $350 in Bonus Bets" offer is a bit more complicated; you need to place a bet of $5 or more every day for the first seven days you're on the platform in order to receive the $350 in Bonus Bets.

So, take your pick: A simple offer that will give you $100 in Bonus Bets for $1, or a more expensive and time-intensive welcome offer that will give you $350 in Bonus Bets. The choice is yours!
