So, how does the FanDuel Bracket Challenge work?

It doesn't get much simpler. You've probably already filled out at least one men's NCAA Tournament bracket this March, what's one more? Make your picks in the FanDuel Sportsbook app and you'll be entered into a contest with thousands of other players. You'll earn points for each correct pick, earning progressively more points in each round. 

If you're among the players who score the most points when the tournament ends in early April, you'll earn a share of $100,000 in Bonus Bets that can be wagered on FanDuel Sportsbook!

Scoring is as follows: 

  • Round of 64: 10 points per correct pick
  • Round of 32: 20 points per correct pick
  • Sweet 16: 40 points per correct pick
  • Elite Eight: 80 points per correct pick
  • Final Four: 160 points per correct pick
  • National Championship: 320 points for a correct pick

How to Join the FanDuel Bracket Challenge

  1. Log in to the FanDuel Sportsbook app and navigate to the promotions tab
  2. Join the FanDuel Bracket Challenge
  3. Pick the winner of each game and earn points for each correct pick
  4. Earn a share of $100,000 in Bonus Bets if you're one of the users with the most points!

FanDuel Bracket Challenge - Key Terms & Conditions

  • Eligibility: Available to FanDuel Sportsbook account holders aged 21+ (18+ in DC, Kentucky, and Wyoming) who are physically located in eligible states, including Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana (select parishes excluded), Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

  • Promotion Period: Runs from 12:00 AM ET on March 16, 2026 through 11:59 AM ET on March 19, 2026, before the start of the first tournament game.

  • How to Participate:

    • Entry: Log in to the FanDuel Sportsbook app and submit a completed bracket in the “College Basketball Bracket Open Contest” (Free to Play section).

    • Entry Limit: One entry per person; no purchase or wager required.

  • Contest Rules:

    • Scoring: Points are awarded for correct picks, increasing each round (10 points in Round of 64 up to 320 points for the championship).

    • Ranking: Final standings are based on total points, with tiebreakers applied if needed.

  • Prize Details:

    • Top Performers:

      • Top 40%, 20%, 10%, and 5% receive Profit Boost Tokens
      • Top 0.25% share a $100,000 Bonus Bet prize pool
    • Prize Distribution: Prizes are credited within 72 hours after the tournament ends.

  • Bonus Bet Terms:

    • Usage: Bonus Bets can be used on most sportsbook wagers (some exclusions apply).

    • Payout: Winnings exclude the Bonus Bet stake.

    • Expiration: Bonus Bets expire 7 days after being credited.

  • Additional Notes:

    • Account Requirement: A verified FanDuel Sportsbook account is required.

    • Non-Withdrawable: Bonus Bets and promotional prizes cannot be withdrawn as cash.
