That's right — DraftKings' King of the Course is back for The Open Championship! DK rolls out their King of the Course promo for most major golf tournaments like The Masters and the US Open, and after giving away $1,000,000 in Bonus Bets in previous major championships, they're ready to give away another million for The Open Championship this weekend.
Here's how to join DraftKings Sportsbook's King of the Course promo for The Open Championship:
- Following Opt-In, you'll be issued one single-use Qualifying Bet Token that works on any pre-tournament bet on the outright winner of The Open Championship.
- Minimum Bet: $5
- The player that records the most birdies or better in Rounds 1 & 2 is the King of the Course.
- All customers who place a pre-tournament outright winner bet with their qualifying bet token on the player who becomes the King of the Course will receive an equal share of $1,000,000 in bonus bets the following day — Saturday, July 18 — unless the completion of round 2 is delayed beyond Friday, July 17.
- If multiple players tie for King of the Course, the prize is split across all customers who bet any of those tied players.
- Bonus Bet will be rewarded within 24 hours. Bonus Bet is non-withdrawable.
Heads up! Your Bonus Bets expire 14 days after they're issued. The only thing worse than losing a bet is not placing a free one, so make sure to take advantage of DraftKings' no-risk Bonus Bets!

- One Qualifying Bet Token per customer for this promotion
- Qualifying Bet Token expires at the start of The Open Championship at 6:45 am ET on 7/16
- You must select the Qualifying Bet Token in your betslip BEFORE placing the Qualifying Bet to apply the promotion.
- Wagering on this promotion must use funds from your cash balance or DK Dollars to qualify
- Share of $1,000,000 issued as 1 or multiple Bonus Bets if your pick becomes King of the Course.
- In the event no person bet on the King of the Course, the persons who bet on the player(s) that came in second towards being King of the Course will win equal shares of the $1,000,000 bonus bet prize.

King of the Course Terms & Conditions

- Opt in and place a $5+ pre-tournament outright bet on The Open Championship using a King of the Course Token. Token is single-use, non-cashable, and expires at tournament start.
- If your selected golfer records the most holes under par (Rounds 1–2), you’ll share a $1,000,000 bonus bet pool. Ties split the pool; if no correct picks, it rolls to the next best golfer. Bet does not need to win to qualify.
- Bonus bets are non-withdrawable, expire in 14 days, and return winnings only (not stake). Limit one token per user. Taxes may apply.
