After a heartbreaking loss to the Jaguars on Sunday, the Raiders have effectively thrown in the towel, having traded WR Jakobi Meyers before the trade deadline on Tuesday. At 2-6, ESPN Analytics gives them a 26.4% chance to upset the 7-2 Broncos on Sunday. But with -500 odds on the moneyline, a Broncos win doesn't present much betting value, does it?
That's where Raiders TE Brock Bowers comes in. After an injury sidelined him for a few weeks, he returned last week with 12 receptions, 123 yards and three touchdowns. After the Meyers trade, Bowers becomes an even bigger target for QB Geno Smith. Bowers has tallied 100+ receiving yards in two of his five games this season. When you combine Bowers to gain 100+ yards in receptions with a Broncos win, your parlay starts to gain some value because a performance like that would typically help the Raiders win.
We added two more props to round out our high-value parlay. First, Geno Smith has thrown 11 picks in eight games this year, throwing at least one INT in six of eight games. We think he'll throw at least one against a tough Broncos secondary. And finally, Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins scored a TD in four of his first five games before being shut out for the last four games — we like him to break that streak in a game that will likely see Denver running the ball early and often.
